Admission and Examination Regulations

Applicants require a Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in the natural sciences, mathematics, computer science or similar fields with

  1. at least 21 CP in mathematics and/or computer science
  2. knowledge of a higher programming language (proven by, e.g. a certificate or a thesis)
  3. at least 12 CP in one of the following fields
    • Computational Astro-/Space Physics: theoretical physics, classical mechanics, electromagnetism (or equivalent)
    • Computational Biology: biology
    • Earth System Sciences: geosciences, meteorology or physics
    • Theoretical Chemistry: inorganic chemistry, quantum chemistry
    • Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics: quantum physics and statistical physics
